History Of Istanbul

Hi all , As you all know Istanbul has a big history. Ancient places, wars, countries and this is about history. The time of Byzantine Empire (324-1453) Istanbul was owned to the Christians. In 1453 the Mehmed the Conqueror captured Istanbul was owned by Muslims. Istanbul lived with many countries, racials, people. Istanbul is important because of it's bosphorus and the place of betwen 2 continents Asia and Europe.

From Constantinople to Istanbul

Hi all, How did the Constantinople became to Istanbul? Of course Istanbul was so good in the history but now it's one of the cities which is known by any country. The change started fro 1453 when Ottoman Empire captured the Istanbul. The Istanbul's mercy change. Byzans Empier finished and people lived very easily. Of course minorities were lived easily they get too much rights.
